iPhone Rear Camera Lens Repair Prices
If your iPhone’s camera lens is cracked, missing, or letting in dust, it can lead to serious problems. Dust and debris can reach the rear camera module, damaging the optics, blurring your images, and sometimes causing complete camera failure. At iCorrect, we replace broken iPhone rear camera lenses using genuine sapphire glass with factory spec UV bonding. That means your camera lens stays in place, protects your internal camera module, and restores the appearance and performance of your iPhone.
Our repairs are completed cleanly and securely using UV curing adhesive, not cheap double sided tape. Most rear lens repairs take under 2 hours and restore full camera clarity, focus, and protection. It is one of the simplest, most affordable ways to restore your iPhone properly and protect its resale value in the process.

Our Process
Many users underestimate the damage a cracked lens can cause. Even the smallest crack allows moisture and dust into your camera housing. That debris scratches the internal camera or fogs up your photos. Left too long, it can turn a simple £39 to £59 lens replacement into a full camera module or rear housing repair.
We see dozens of failed home repairs each week, lenses bought online that fall out within days or leave adhesive residue behind. Unlike factory glass, those lenses are not sapphire, do not protect your camera properly, and are rarely bonded with the correct adhesive. We use original lenses and the same UV cure bonding method Apple uses to ensure durability and alignment.
If you plan to trade in your iPhone, a broken lens will heavily reduce its value. Apple charges up to £580 for a full rear system replacement. We repair just the lens accurately, affordably, and to factory standards.

FAQs
Learn more about iCorrect, the essential repair services that we offer and the warranties that come with each repair.
Can a cracked camera lens damage my iPhone’s rear camera?
Yes. A cracked lens allows dust and moisture to enter the rear camera housing. This can damage the internal lens coating, blur your photos, or even short the camera module entirely. If you see fog, white haze, or black specks in your photos, it may already be affecting the camera module.
That is why we always inspect both the lens and the camera. If the camera has been compromised, we will recommend replacing both parts and explain your options clearly.
How much does it cost to replace a cracked iPhone camera lens?
Camera lens replacements typically cost between £39 and £59 depending on your iPhone model. This includes removal of the broken lens, cleaning of the housing, installation of a genuine sapphire lens, and full curing using factory grade UV adhesive.
If the rear camera is also damaged, we will quote that separately before any work begins. But in many cases, a lens replacement alone is enough to restore your iPhone.
Do you use original parts when replacing iPhone camera lenses?
Yes. We use original Apple lenses or reclaimed sapphire lenses from donor devices. These are properly curved and hardened to protect the camera beneath. We bond them using UV cure adhesive that matches the method used in Apple’s manufacturing process.
We never use cheap glass or stick on lenses with double sided tape. If you want a camera lens that looks and works like the original, this is the only way to do it properly.
Will a damaged camera lens affect my trade in or resale value?
Absolutely. A cracked camera lens is considered physical damage by most trade in platforms and can result in your iPhone being marked as BER (beyond economic repair) or reduce its grade dramatically.
Spending £39 to £59 on a proper repair can help you recover hundreds in trade in or resale value. And if you are returning the phone as part of a lease or insurance claim, a damaged lens will almost always incur a penalty unless fixed properly.
I tried to replace the camera lens myself but it fell out. Can you fix it?
Yes. We regularly see failed home repairs involving online lenses and DIY adhesive kits. Often these lenses fall out within days or leave residue inside the camera housing. Some cause the camera to fog up or shift out of focus.
We will remove any leftover adhesive or failed parts, clean the housing properly, and fit a genuine lens with correct alignment and curing. We do not reuse any part that is not tested to Apple’s durability and sealing standards.
Can I keep using my iPhone with a broken camera lens?
You can, but it is risky. Each time you put your iPhone in your pocket or use it outdoors, dust or moisture may enter the broken lens area. This can lead to blurred images, corrosion, or even complete failure of the rear camera.
We recommend booking a lens replacement as soon as you notice a crack or missing glass. It is a simple, affordable repair that prevents far more costly damage.
What is the repair process for a camera lens replacement?
We start by inspecting the damage and testing the rear camera. Then we remove the broken lens, clean the housing, and bond a new sapphire lens using UV cured adhesive. Once fitted, we test the clarity, focus, and alignment of the rear camera to ensure everything is working as expected.
The full process takes around 1 to 2 hours.
Does the lens replacement include camera calibration?
Calibration is not usually needed for a lens only replacement, but we still test camera focus, colour accuracy, and image quality before and after. If we discover the internal module has also been affected, we will advise on camera replacement and include full post repair calibration using Apple’s tools.
What does your warranty cover for camera lens repairs?
All camera lens replacements come with a two year warranty covering adhesive failure, lens detachment, or installation issues. If anything goes wrong due to the repair, we will fix it.
Accidental damage from drops or external impact is not covered under warranty.
Can I walk in for a same day lens repair or do I need to book?
We recommend booking in advance where possible, but walk-ins are usually accepted. Most lens repairs are completed in under 2 hours. If there is a queue or additional damage is found, we will let you know as soon as we inspect the device.
