iPhone Loudspeaker Repair Prices

If your iPhone no longer plays sound from the speaker at the bottom, or you can only hear calls through the earpiece speaker, the loudspeaker may need replacing. Whether it is due to wear, liquid damage, or debris blocking the sound, we can restore your iPhone’s audio with a proper loudspeaker repair.

At iCorrect, we use original loudspeaker modules and complete all repairs using professional tools and factory-level sealing. Most loudspeaker repairs are completed within 2 to 3 hours. If we find the fault goes beyond the speaker itself, we will run a full diagnostic to check the logic board and confirm the root cause.

Our Process

A faulty loudspeaker can affect everything from call volume and music playback to alarms and notifications. Many clients do not realise just how much functionality is lost until the speaker is fixed.

If your iPhone plays no sound at all, it might be the speaker, but it could also be a deeper issue. That is why we test thoroughly before every repair. If the speaker is confirmed to be the fault, we will fit an original part and complete the job the same day. If there is something more complex, we will upgrade to a diagnostic and let you know what we find.

iPhones that fail sound tests often lose resale value. We fix the problem and help restore that value, quickly and professionally.

FAQs

Learn more about iCorrect, the essential repair services that we offer and the warranties that come with each repair.

How do I know if my iPhone loudspeaker needs replacing?

Common signs include:

  • No sound during speakerphone calls, music, or video playback
  • Rattling, distortion, or crackling from the bottom speaker
  • Alarms or notifications that are too quiet or silent

If you are unsure, we can test the loudspeaker and related components and confirm whether the issue is with the speaker or something deeper.

How much does an iPhone loudspeaker repair cost?

Loudspeaker repairs typically cost between £69 and £99 depending on the model. This includes fitting an original loudspeaker module, testing audio performance, and resealing the device to factory spec.

Do you use original parts?

Yes. We only use original Apple loudspeaker parts, either new or reclaimed and verified from donor devices. Each part is tested for volume output, clarity, and tone before fitting.

We never use generic aftermarket speakers or modules.

How long does a loudspeaker repair take?

Most iPhone loudspeaker repairs are completed within 2 to 3 hours. This includes disassembly, speaker replacement, resealing, and full audio testing.

If your issue is urgent, you can book an express service subject to availability.

What if the sound is completely gone?

If your iPhone has no audio from either the loudspeaker or the earpiece, we will upgrade the repair to a full diagnostic. That lets us check the logic board, audio IC, and other power circuits that may be causing the problem.

We will always explain our findings clearly and quote before proceeding with any deeper repairs.

Can loudspeaker damage reduce my iPhone’s resale value?

Yes. A phone with no speaker output or poor sound will often be marked as BER (beyond economic repair) on trade-in platforms or graded lower. That means you get less value when upgrading or selling.

A quick speaker repair can restore both functionality and resale price. We will complete it cleanly, properly, and with a two-year warranty.

Is the loudspeaker repair covered under warranty?

Yes. All iPhone loudspeaker repairs are covered under our two-year warranty. This covers the part and workmanship. Accidental damage or liquid ingress after repair is not covered.

If the speaker fails again through no fault of your own, we will fix it free of charge.

What causes loudspeakers to stop working?

Loudspeakers can fail from age, moisture exposure, or internal damage. Sometimes dust or debris enters the mesh, or the speaker membrane tears due to pressure or heat.

Other times, the audio signal path inside the logic board is affected by a prior repair or drop. That is why we test before every repair to find the real cause.

Can I continue using my iPhone with a damaged speaker?

You can, but you will lose important functions like alarms, speakerphone, video sound, and app alerts. It is also frustrating for voice notes and calls.

We recommend booking in for repair to restore full functionality, especially if you plan to keep or sell your iPhone long term.

Do I need to back up my iPhone before the repair?

We always recommend backing up your iPhone before any hardware repair, although loudspeaker replacements do not involve your data. Your data is safe during the repair, but a backup is a smart precaution in case anything unexpected occurs.
