iPhone Diagnostic Prices

If your iPhone is not turning on, is behaving strangely, or has been damaged by liquid, the first step is a proper diagnostic. That means a full inspection of your iPhone’s power, charging, logic board, display, and internal components to find the real fault. We don’t guess. We test every part properly.

At iCorrect, we specialise in repairs that Apple and other repair companies often refuse. We go far beyond surface-level checks. We disassemble the iPhone, test voltage and current draw, inspect the logic board under a microscope, and trace the fault to its source. It’s how we offer repairs that others cannot.

Once the diagnostic is complete, we will provide you with a report and a confirmed quote. Then it’s up to you. If the repair cost is high, we’ll give you the best advice on whether to proceed or replace the device. Our diagnostics are done properly because we believe repair is nearly always the better option.

Our Process

This is where we do our best thinking. If you’ve been told your iPhone is not repairable, the logic board is damaged, or it’s simply time to buy a new one, let us take a proper look first. We specialise in saving iPhones from landfill.

We start with a power test using high-precision ammeters. Then we inspect the device inside and out before we disassemble it completely. From there, we begin component-level testing on the logic board under microscope, looking for damaged chips, shorted circuits, or failed previous repairs. Nothing is guessed. Everything is tested.

If we find the issue is repairable, we’ll send you a full report and a confirmed price to complete the repair. If it’s not repairable or it doesn’t make sense to proceed, we’ll offer you a trade-in value or guide you towards the next best step.

What is an iPhone diagnostic and why do I need one?

A diagnostic is a complete test of your iPhone to find the exact fault. This is important if the iPhone is dead, has power issues, is behaving strangely, or you don’t know what the issue is. We check the battery, charging port, display, logic board, and internal circuits so that we know exactly what’s wrong before we quote for repair.

My iPhone is completely dead. Can you still run a diagnostic?

Yes. That’s one of the most common reasons people come to us. Whether it’s a failed charging IC, liquid damage, or a logic board fault, we go deep enough to find the cause. This is exactly what we do best.

Apple said my iPhone is not repairable. Can you still check it?

Yes. Apple does not offer board-level diagnostics. If the logic board is at fault, they will quote for a whole-device replacement. We do the opposite. We isolate and repair the actual component that failed.

How long does an iPhone diagnostic take?

Diagnostics typically take one to two working days. This gives us time to test all components, run power checks, and inspect the board. If you need a faster turnaround, we offer an express diagnostic service depending on availability.

How much does it cost to diagnose an iPhone?

Our diagnostic service costs £29 including VAT. This includes full testing, disassembly, board inspection, and a report with a confirmed repair quote.

Do you test the logic board or just the parts like battery and screen?

We test everything. Logic board, battery, charging system, display, sensors, and more. Most shops stop at the obvious faults. We go down to microchip level so we can complete the right repair without guesswork.

Can you diagnose liquid damage?

Yes. We do it every day. If your iPhone has had contact with moisture or liquid, it needs to be diagnosed properly to check for corrosion, failed chips, or unstable power. We check and document all of it.

What if my iPhone can’t be repaired?

We will offer you a trade-in value if you choose not to proceed. We may also be able to offer you a replacement device depending on stock. But in most cases, we can repair what others cannot.

Will I get a report after the diagnostic?

Yes. You will receive a summary of what we found, why the iPhone failed, and what needs to be done to repair it. If there is liquid damage, we will also include photos.

Do I lose anything if I decide not to go ahead with the repair?

No. You will keep your report and we will offer you a recycling or upgrade option if you prefer not to continue. If you want the device returned untouched after testing, we can arrange that too.
