Apple Watch Heart Rate Monitor Prices

If your Apple Watch no longer tracks your heart rate accurately, or if the sensor glass on the back is cracked or dislodged, you may not need a new watch. At iCorrect, we repair the Apple Watch heart rate sensor module using the original part, restoring full fitness and ECG functionality.

The sensor sits on the back of your watch and is essential for features like heart rate monitoring, activity tracking, and accurate health data. If this area is cracked, damaged, or faulty, it can affect everything from ECG readings to calorie calculations. Our repair replaces just the damaged module, so you keep the rest of your device intact.

Our Process

Apple will usually tell you the entire Apple Watch must be replaced if the heart rate sensor is cracked or faulty. But this is not true. In most cases, we can repair the heart rate sensor by replacing the affected module with an original one. It is faster, more sustainable, and significantly more affordable than replacing the entire watch.

We complete this repair using the same techniques Apple uses in its own factory workflow. The back sensor is securely bonded to the housing and sealed properly to retain water resistance for daily wear. Repairs typically take two to three working days, allowing time for full resealing and post-repair testing.

If your Apple Watch is not tracking your heart rate, giving inaccurate ECG results, or has a cracked rear sensor glass, book it in. It is better to repair the specific fault than to lose all your data and start again with a replacement.

FAQs

Learn more about iCorrect, the essential repair services that we offer and the warranties that come with each repair.

What is the heart rate sensor on an Apple Watch?

The heart rate sensor is the glass-covered module on the back of the Apple Watch that sits against your wrist. It measures your pulse, heart rhythm, and is responsible for ECG readings and fitness data.

Can a cracked sensor stop heart rate tracking?

Yes. If the sensor glass is cracked, missing, or the module itself is damaged, it can affect tracking accuracy or stop it from working altogether. ECG data may also be incorrect.

Do I need to replace my whole Apple Watch if the sensor is damaged?

No. While Apple may recommend a full device replacement, we can replace just the heart rate sensor module using an original part. It is faster, cheaper, and keeps your watch’s data and setup intact.

What does this repair include?

We remove the faulty or damaged heart rate sensor, clean the housing, and bond in a replacement module using the same method Apple uses. Once sealed, we run full tests on ECG and heart rate accuracy.

How long does the repair take?

Repairs usually take two to three working days. This allows us time to reseal the module properly, cure the adhesive, and test the device under real-world usage.

Will my Apple Watch still be water resistant after repair?

Yes. We reseal the sensor area using Apple-grade adhesive to maintain water resistance for daily use, including washing hands, light swimming, and workouts. We do not recommend submersion in saltwater or steam rooms after any third-party repair.

Is this repair available for all Apple Watch models?

We offer this repair for most Series 4 and newer models. We will always inspect your watch to confirm compatibility and whether the issue is isolated to the heart rate module.

What if my sensor stopped working after a drop?

Impact damage is a common cause of sensor failure. If the rear glass is cracked or the watch was dropped, we recommend a sensor inspection and repair to prevent further internal issues.

Do you use original parts?

Yes. All heart rate sensors used in this repair are original pulled parts from genuine Apple Watches. We test them in-house for accuracy before installation.

Do you offer a warranty on this repair?

Yes. All heart rate sensor repairs come with a two-year warranty covering part failure and workmanship. Accidental damage or misuse is not covered.
